Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about keeping the repair process moving smoothly? Hunter Auto Group is looking for a Body Shop Parts Specialist to be the backbone of our collision center operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing logistics, and playing a key role in getting our customers back on the road safely!

As our Body Shop Parts Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in managing inventory, sourcing high-quality parts, and ensuring our technicians have exactly what they need to deliver exceptional repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the body shop technicians to ensure timely availability of parts.


• Review repair orders to determine necessary parts and materials for repairs.


• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess.


• Source and purchase parts from suppliers as needed, ensuring cost-effectiveness.


• Manage returns and exchanges of parts as required.


• Track and manage parts receipts and deliveries.


• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues regarding parts orders or availability.


• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts room.


• Process warranty claims and handle parts warranty issues.


• Assist body shop technicians with parts identification and installation.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in automotive parts or a collision center environment is preferred


• Strong knowledge of automotive terminology, body components, and repair processes


• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced shop environment


• Proficiency with inventory systems (experience with DealerTrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar DMS is a plus)


• High attention to detail to ensure part accuracy and order precision


• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset


• Physical ability to lift and move automotive parts and supplies as needed


• A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for automotive excellence
