Responsibilities
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.
Fill depressions with body filler.
Remove damaged fenders, panels
Bolt or weld replacement parts in position
Straighten bent automobile frames.
File, grind, sand, and prime, repair surfaces.
Aim headlights, align wheels and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as a Body Shop Technician required
Ability to use frame machine
Certification in body repair preferred
Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
I-CAR welding certified preferred
Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data
Aluminum repair certifications a plus
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
