Estimator – Job Summary

As an Estimator, you serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from the moment they arrive. This role involves understanding customer needs, coordinating repair services, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring consistent communication throughout the repair process. You may also assist with arranging loaner vehicles and verifying insurance information prior to scheduling repairs.

Estimator Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally


• Gather and verify customer and vehicle information


• Clearly explain the repair process and expectations


• Assess required repairs and prepare precise estimates for labor and parts


• Submit repair estimates to the insurance company as needed


• Establish appropriate follow-up timelines


• Monitor each vehicle’s progress and provide timely updates to customers


• Ensure the final invoice aligns accurately with all repair work performed


• Review completed repairs with customers and explain all associated charges

Estimator Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred


• Strong problemidentification abilities


• Solid knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes


• Demonstrated history of delivering exceptional customer satisfaction


• Energetic, positive, and customerfocused personality
