Job Description - Boiler Operator Supervisor

If you're detail -oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, join our talented home services team as a technician supervisor. Your skills will be put to use in this rewarding role as the leader of a team of technicians. As our supervisor, you'll develop and implement your own initiatives to train, delegate tasks, and review ongoing and completed projects. Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and control multiple boilers across different types of fuels
  • Preventative maintenance of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, and support equipment
  • Pump maintenance, as well as piping and valve needs
  • Daily checks and logs during shift to ensure optimum operation, including water testing and chemical additions
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the scope of operation
  • Electrical work as needed - 24 volt DC control voltage up to 480 volt 3 phase AC to include switches and VFDs
  • Facility upkeep and improvements
  • Ability to learn and train others on the plant system

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of plant boiler/ powerhouse operation
  • Basic skills in welding, pipefitting, and power tools
  • Ability to work around process chemicals
  • Understanding of powerhouse equipment and the continual improvement process
