Job Description - Boilermaker

General assembly of Boiler components including but not limited to tubing, insulation, refractory, pipefittings, valves, and gauges. Perform assembly functions within the allotted time standards.

Requirements

Run air/power hand tools and standard hand tools\Attach electrical wiring and shielded cable as required
Read and understand wiring schematics and piping layout
Cutting and threading of pipe
Ensure that parts are assembled on boiler per instructions for proper appearance and function
Read and interpret shop orders
Must be capable of training other employees in said department
Function with minimal amount of supervision
Able to reproduce all operations within acceptable quality guidelines
Prompt, dependable and reliable in work attendancePerform other related duties as required
