Boilermaker / Stationary Steam Engineer

Cedar Park Group is hiring a licensed Boilermaker / Stationary Steam Engineer to support powerhouse operations for a state facility operating 24/7. We are looking for professionals with a valid Ohio High Pressure Boiler Operator License or a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Class Stationary Steam Engineer License. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates experienced in industrial equipment, steam systems, and maintaining high safety standards in large facilities.

Schedule: All shifts available. Shifts will be assigned as needed and are subject to change.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining powerhouse equipment including high-pressure boilers, turbines, compressors, pumps, and pollution control systems. The engineer will ensure safe and efficient performance of systems while maintaining accurate operational logs and assisting with maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Operate and observe powerhouse systems (e.g., boilers, turbines, air compressors, pumps, fan motors, generators, and pollution control systems)

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct equipment rounds and read gauges, meters, regulators, and switches

  
  


• 
  

  Start, stop, synchronize, and switch turbines and generators

  
  


• 
  

  Perform steam fitting and plumbing tasks related to boiler maintenance

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with major equipment repairs and inspection preparation

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain clean equipment and powerhouse workspaces

  
  


• 
  

  Record operational data, including maintenance activity and power output

  
  


• 
  

  Perform additional duties as assigned

  
  

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience

• 
  

  Must hold one of the following valid Ohio licenses:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    High Pressure Boiler Operator

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    3rd, 2nd, or 1st Class Stationary Steam Engineer

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Proven experience in powerhouse or steam system operations

  
  


• 
  

  Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to interpret technical schematics, manuals, and gauges

  
  


• 
  

  Physically capable of performing demanding tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
