Bookkeeper (Admin Assistant)
Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Admin Assistant & Bookkeeper you will be responsible for administrative functions, HR & Payroll, and Bookkeeping requirements of the company. You will manage Payables & Receivables functions, including, Invoicing, Collections, Bank Recon’s. You will work directly with the Office Manager and corporate accountants to generate all necessary financial statements, tax estimates, and monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings and payments. General office administrative tasks, as required by management.
Job Requirements:
· Strong work ethic and ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
· Knowledge of current employment laws, rules and regulations.
· Professional appearance and etiquette when dealing with callers, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
· Payroll processing.
· Banking and bank reconciliations.
· Accounts Payable.
· Accounts Receivable.
· Sales Invoicing.
· Employee benefits control and reporting.
· All general office administrative functions.
· Maintain benefits programs and work directly with benefits providers.
· Compile and distribute management reports weekly/monthly/annually.
· Good interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
· Good computer skills, including QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new software.
· Additional task and functions, as directed by the Office Manager.
Qualification Requirements:
· Associates Degree in Business, Finance, or the equivalent.
· Must have at least 3 years’ experience in an Office Administrator role.
· Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks and be well versed in all MS Office applications.
· Should have good working knowledge of ERP systems.
· Proven and verifiable track record within Admin & HR or Finance.
