Located in the Evanston, Illinois area, this Bookkeeper position is a long-term contract / contract to permanent opportunity that you do not want to miss.

Position is Part Time ~ 20-24 hours - flexible scheduling

Your responsibilities

- Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

- Maintain and balance general ledger

- Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Reconcile accounts by rectifying entries

- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

- Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

- Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Bookkeeping experience

- Command of Quickbooks Premier

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

- Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired
