We are looking for a Staff Accountant Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for QuickBooks entries, including AP and AR functions, Bank Reconciliations, preparing and running financial reports for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Entering Payable invoices and sales tax payments, including credit card expenses, preparing and running A/P Checks in QuickBooks
- Entering banking information and check reconciliation in QuickBooks
- Organizing and filing various items, such as invoices, bank statements, broker statements, financial reports, tax information, vehicle titles, etc.
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
- Field calls to screen potential tenants, prepare rent rolls, track deposits, etc.
- Assist with year end account analysis and accrual to cash adjustments
- Support the Finance Director and other light ad hoc office operations, going to the post office, bank, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Fundamental knowledge of General Accounting concepts
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools either QuickBooks or a similar type of product, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Analytical Skills
