Looking for a Bookkeeper/Assistant person who is highly organized, dependable, with a high sense of discretion. The position is part-time at a home office in Malibu, mainly dealing with personal accounting and general admin duties. This position has the potential to be semi-remote; but it is yet to be determined as it is still evolving.
We anticipate it would be between 15-20 hours a week – depending on workload and what projects are required. Training will be provided on QuickBooks Desktop. You will report to the Sr. Accountant and the CEO.
General Requirements
Bookkeeping duties include:
· Post credit card activity and organized back up for the statement.
· Post checking account activity.
· Post recurring invoices in payables
· Prepares expense reimbursement reports and post in payables.
· Weekly check runs (low volume)
· Makes bank deposits.
Admin duties include:
· Pickup mail from PO Box and process it
· Assisting CEO to distribute the mail, file and scan
· General office – order supplies, organize files, organize equipment
· Weekly meetings with Personal Assistant and determine overflow work to be supported by you.
· Running errands and any special requests from CEO
