Small office looking for a Bookkeeping Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Bookkeeping Assistant include providing support to the office and two managers. Assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.
Skills
- Proven experience as a bookkeeping or clerical assistant.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel, and other account systems.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- High output of daily work required.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate accounting tasks
- Keep track of office bills, confirm we receive invoices/bills, pay them in a timely manner and post them to Quickbooks the same day.
- Cut checks and keep invoices and expenses in order.
- Bank Deposits daily, and posted to QB same day.
- Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
