Job Description - Bookkepper




Paddock Chevrolet 2026 Best Places to work finalist is looking for an Bookkeeper.  At Paddock Chevrolet we strive to make every customer a customer for life. Responsibilities

 

A/R Duties and Responsibilities 



  • Identify & monitor outstanding accounts receivable

  • Resolve billing issues

  • Process payments and refunds 

  • Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments

  • Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress

  • Make up daily bank deposit

  • Print and mail monthly A/R statements


 


A/P Duties and Responsibilities 



  • Accounts payable invoice entry 

  • Schedule and process check runs in an organized and timely manner

  • Monitoring discount opportunities

  • Resolving statement, invoice or payment discrepancies

  • Other duties assigned


Qualifications



  • Experience using a dealership management system (DMS) and payroll platform



  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to improve



  • Self-starter who can work both independently and with a team



  • Accounting degree (preferred, not required)



  • Preferred AR/AP experience in automotive dealership


  • Valid Drivers License
