Borrower Package Coordinator

Anchor Loans is one of several operating companies owned by Pretium (+$50B AUM Financial Services Entity) and is working diligently to expand and grow its lending footprint.

Position Summary

We are looking for a customer service oriented professional who is able to effectively communicate with all related parties to successfully close the loan transaction.  Prepares and underwrites Borrower applications through approval.  Assures compliance with investor guidelines and customer service standards.  Communicates internally to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain all necessary documentation required for the file. No experience required, we are seeking a hard-working, detail oriented, people person to fill this role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure an outstanding customer experience for all customers, including Borrowers, Third Parties and Internal Staff. Our goal is to establish strong relationships that provide our customers with a sense of complete satisfaction in their decision to work with Anchor Loans.


• File and underwrite borrower packages, entity packages and borrower experience


• Maintain system and hard drive files and documentation


• Review and analyze Westlaw background check data


• Responsible for escalating high level issues on background, credit and sole member issues


• Maintain borrower profiles for designated Originators


• Review and analyze credit and financial data


• Prepare and submit borrower applications for bank lines


• Communicate with Processors to request missing documents and information to complete application


• Clear funding conditions including final review of credit and proof of funds


• Assist with updates to training manuals and procedures


• Recommends process improvements and tests all system related improvements


• Assist with annual 1098 research and reporting


• Performing related duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma

Preferred, but not required

College degree preferred

Experience in the field of real estate or loan processing preferred

Knowledge of Corporations and LLC’s preferred

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position which requires in office reporting to Anchor’s Thousand Oaks office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote work is optional Monday and Friday.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $22-$26/hour, plus performance-based bonus.
