Position Summary: The Visual Sales Associate is a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless blend of aesthetics and functionality across Hive Collective’s spaces. This role emphasizes driving sales, optimizing visual merchandising strategies, and upholding Hive’s values of exceptional quality and creativity. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for design, retail, and collaboration while delivering an extraordinary customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Visual Merchandising
Strategically influence sales and gross margin performance through meticulous merchandise placement and detailed report management.
Collaborate with the Visual Manager and Buying & Design Managers to determine floor placement for new furniture and curated groupings, ensuring a cohesive presentation.
Monitor and integrate visual merchandising strategies from industry leaders to maintain a competitive edge.
Create detailed vision boards and plans for key seasonal transitions.
Training and Team Collaboration
Develop and execute comprehensive training plans for the sales team to maintain Hive’s visual merchandising standards.
Collaborate with the Buying Team to provide support for buying trips and share valuable insights.
Work closely with sales teams to finalize all jobs by sourcing and pulling products from Hive’s sales floor.
Develop a strong collaborative relationship with the Hive Warehouse team
Event and Marketing Support
Actively participate as a hostess during in-store events, reinforcing Hive’s values and delivering a warm, memorable experience for customers.
Collaborate with the Communications team to execute special event merchandising and decorating initiatives.
Partner with the Communications team to determine necessary signage and marketing materials designed to influence and enhance customer behavior.
