Bovine Genetics Distribution Technician

• Process and fulfill customer orders accurately, pulling the correct product from inventory.
• Package and prepare semen shipments using cryogenic dry shippers filled with liquid nitrogen.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Receive and inspect returned shipping tanks and record nitrogen levels upon return.

• Maintain accurate semen inventory and tank records.
• Monitor nitrogen levels in both storage and shipping tanks to ensure product safety.
• Follow strict biosecurity, handling, and safety protocols throughout all processes.
• Support laboratory and distribution teams with product tracking and documentation.

• Work collaboratively with production, lab, and customer service teams to meet daily shipping goals.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
• Maintain organized workspaces and contribute to process improvement discussions.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with other facility duties as needed.

• Perform related duties and/or special projects as assigned

• Background in agriculture, livestock production, or bovine genetics strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook) for order tracking and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license required; occasional product transport may be part of the role.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle cryogenic tanks filled with liquid nitrogen.

• Comfortable working in cold environments and on your feet for extended periods.
