Summary:
As a Bowling Attendant, you are the first point of contact in creating a fun, memorable experience for our guests. You assist customers with purchasing games, renting shoes, and assigning lanes, while providing friendly support and guidance throughout their visit. In addition to guest interaction, you help maintain a clean, safe, and fully operational bowling area by caring for equipment, lanes, and common spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to service play a vital role in the overall success of our bowling center.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Assign and track open lanes, manage a reservation list, and assist with league preparations
- Rent shoes, assist customers in locating house bowling balls, and ring up sales through the point-of-sale system
- Maintain a clean bowling center by removing trash, wiping down tables and seating areas, and returning bowling balls to their proper place
- Notify mechanics promptly of equipment issues or lane stoppages
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service or bowling center experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Requirements
- At least 21 Years of Age
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
