The Box Administrator is responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing an organizations Box Enterprise platform. This role ensures smooth operation, compliance, and integration of Box with other business systems while supporting end users and enforcing governance policies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and folder structures within Box.
Configure enterprise-level features such as Box Shield, Governance, Relay, Sign, and metadata workflows.
Monitor platform security, enforce compliance policies, and manage audits.
Automate processes for onboarding, offboarding, and file lifecycle management.
Generate and analyze reports on usage, security, and adoption.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, liaising with IT and vendor support.
Integrate Box with tools like Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and Adobe Sign.
Train end-users and promote best practices for content management.
Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
2+ years in Box administration or enterprise content management.
Strong knowledge of Box governance, security, and integration capabilities.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
