Hours: Monday-Friday, Day Shift 6 AM-4:30 PM OR Night Shift 5 PM-3:30 AM

Weld Test for the Box Header Hand Welder:
Test is a 2G heavy wall small diameter carbon steel pipe test; single bevel with MIG stringer and MIG fill and cap (and another test with 7018-1 stick fill and cap; test is X-ray and UT).

Job Description for the Box Header Hand Welder:
We are seeking a skilled Box Header Hand Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding box headers for Heat Exchangers. This position requires precision welding skills, the ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, and a strong understanding of welding codes and quality control standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up welders to produce cosmetically pleasing, spatter-free welds
• Proficiency in MIG process and Flux core welding
• Troubleshoot welding equipment
• Familiarity with basic fabrication equipment (saws, grinders, etc.)
• Ability to use weld fixtures
• Read and comprehend production schedules
• Maintain an organized and tidy workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards
