Box Room - Attendant (2nd SHIFT)

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

1. Familiar with product codes and packaging requirements associated with each code. 

1. Operate a box making machine and be familiar with all tasks in the department.

1. Maintain and store packaging materials in a safe and sanitary manner.

1. Follow the written specification for packaging and labeling products.

1. Must be able to set up equipment properly, efficiently, & make adjustments as necessary.

1. Know & complete necessary paperwork associated with machinery & job duties.

1. Physically inspects packaging materials for defects.  Defects would include but not limited to:  foreign matter, rips and/or any damage, missing or incorrect labels

1. Inventory stock weekly; enter information into computer daily; perform housekeeping duties.

1. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to immediate supervisor or plant management official.  Abnormal situation would be:

-Product tampering

             -Willful product adulteration

             -Equipment malfunction that may put product wholesomeness at stake.
