Boyne City Store Manager

The Grain Train Natural Foods Market is looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our Boyne City location. The Store Manager plays an integral role in helping grow our Co-op’s presence and scope in Boyne City, located just 15 miles from our downtown Petoskey location and administrative offices.

The Boyne City store has excellent potential, and the Store Manager will be responsible for training and supervising employees, ensuring the store is always stocked and well-merchandised, providing excellent customer service, and working to make sure that our two stores are aligned with our Co-op’s Ends and overall mission.

The ideal Store Manager candidate is enthusiastic, growth-minded, a cooperator at heart, and has significant retail and management experience. This position is a full-time (40 hours) position and reports to our Retail Operations Manager. Grain Train offers a generous benefit package, including health insurance, a SIMPLE IRA with employer match after one year, and a 25% discount on most items. 

The Grain Train Natural Foods Market is a cooperatively owned grocery store with over 3,700 owners in and around Charlevoix and Emmet Counties. It was founded in 1971 and our Boyne City store opened in 2014. We are looking for a Store Manager to promote our Boyne City store and increase both sales and enthusiasm.
