Brake Press Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydraulic press brakes (Accupress, Dener, Toyokoki) for forming steel components

• Load material, monitor runs, and perform quality checks during production

• Use measuring instruments including calipers, protractors, and rulers to inspect parts

• Track part counts, apply correct labels, and update job documentation accurately

• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation

• Perform minor adjustments during runs to maintain part quality

Recommended Qualifications:

• Experience operating a press brake in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools effectively

• Solid understanding of bend angles, tolerances, and forming principles

• Basic knowledge of shop math and material behavior

• Comfortable working independently while maintaining production pace

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Accupress, Dener, or Toyokoki brand press brakes

• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles

• Previous experience with medium-volume part runs and quality tracking

• Ability to pivot between different part specs and bend requirements
