Brake Press Operator

Job Overview: The Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating a machine called a brake press to bend, form, and shape metal sheets or plates according to specifications. They read blueprints, set up the machine, load the material, and monitor the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. They may also perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspecting and calibrating machines
• Reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Setting up and operating machines
• Maintaining safety regulations
• Operates overhead crane
• Operates fork truck

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machine operation or a related field is preferred
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of brake press operation and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
