Branch Manager

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and employee training/development. The Branch Manager plays a crucial role in meeting the goals of the company related to customer service, branch profitability and safety. As a Branch Manager, you will work with your team members to provide reliable and exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

· Monitor and maintain inventory levels within the warehouse and showroom

· Guide all operational functions and activities of the branch

· Ensure high levels of order fulfillment and customer satisfaction are achieved by the branch

· Manage/improve productivity and efficiency at all levels

· Sustain a clean and safe working environment for all employees

· Assist Human Resources with recruiting and onboarding process

· Stay knowledgeable on technical developments and changes in product lines

· Monitor competitive threats and discuss proper response with Operations Manager

· Understand and report P&L information for the company location

· Lead a diversified work force

· Conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with contractors, vendors, and employees

· Manage staff and assign duties accordingly

· Perform other duties as assigned

• 5+ years of operational experience required, preferably within the HVAC industry
• Associate degree in business or related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and operate warehouse machinery is required
• 2-3 years of managerial experience preferred
• Proven success in sales, operations, or purchasing
• Strong inventory management skills to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize loss
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• High level of organization and follow through
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Prophet 21 is preferred
