Job Description - Branch Manager

L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. L&W Supply delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.

If you have proven leadership skills and you’re looking to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you! L&W Supply is currently seeking an experienced, results-driven Branch Manager to operate and grow a branch location.

Specific duties may include:

  • Managing customer relationships by providing excellent service and delivery execution with high customer satisfaction
  • Hiring associates and monitoring their performance
  • Coaching and mentoring branch personnel, setting expectations, and ensuring efficient operations
  • Supporting the sales team’s efforts to present and sell L&W Supply’s value proposition
  • Managing employee relations and human resources functions at the branch level
  • Managing storefront and merchandising
  • Ensuring safety policies and procedures are followed by employees, customers, and vendors
  • Managing in-branch sales and customer service functions
  • Profit and loss accountability
  • Generating associates’ work schedules
  • Successfully managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Specific qualifications include:

  • College degree (Business, Supply Chain Management or other related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years management experience - industry experience and product knowledge are strongly preferred
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Solid and proven sales management skills
