Job Summary:

Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch. Oversees provision of full range of services to

members/prospective

members. Provide exceptional member service to members and internal staff at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of branch operations.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining proper cash controls.
Effectively supervises branch staff, ensuring optimal performance and exceptional member service.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members.
Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with established Credit Union policies and with legal and regulatory requirements.
Implements changes to established policies and procedures within the branch.
Conducts regular meetings with branch employees to inform and train. Discusses areas needing improvement and changes in procedure.
Tracks individual progress and conducts performance appraisals on each employee as required. Provides leadership training to employees seeking management opportunities.
Uphold the compliance requirement of all related federal regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures. Complete annual BSA training requirements as established by SunWest Credit Union.
Keeps management apprised of branch activities and/or any significant problems.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High School graduate or equivalent. Includes formal and on the job training.
One to three years related experience; minimum two years of supervisory experience.
Driver’s license required.
Understanding of Credit Union services and products and Credit Union philosophy.
Excellent computer efficiency (MS Office/Word/Excel and Outlook).
Ability to operate PC and other computer systems and software, including office equipment
Required reports and records are accurate, complete and timely.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productive standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
