Branch Manager - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Compensation: $75k – depends on experience.

Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for supervising and managing all day to day activities including sales, shipping and receiving, billing and manufacturing. Management of the branch begins with a top down budget approach with monthly financial statement review and accountability. People management responsibilities include hiring and ongoing training of team members, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems to ensure that all staff comply with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work with management to set annual sales budget

2. Maintain adequate staff levels and provide training to all new staff on company processes and procedures.

3. Assist with customer service to ensure overall customer satisfaction

4. Work to grow business by finding opportunities with existing and new customers

5. Work closely with Warehouse Manager to maintain adequate inventory levels

6. Manage inventory levels to maximize customer service and minimize slow moving items

7. Maintain inventory controls and monitor inventory turnover

8. Develop and maintain departmental procedures for all tasks that work is completed on time and done in a manner that meets customer expectations and company policies.

9. Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.

10. Mentor and coach the team and set the example for AMD’s core values including enforcing and adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure they are consistently being followed.

11. Assist in staffing needs, including interviewing potential candidates and coordinating with temporary staffing services, as needed,

12. Recommend measures to improve quality of service and increase efficiency and productivity of branch.

Qualifications:

Minimum

1. Experience: Five years of relevant management experience

2. Skills:

Preferred:

1. Related experience in the fence or shutter industry.

2. Familiarity with Netsuite ERP system.

3. Experience with lean methodologies.

Salary info:

$32 - $36 / hr
