Job Description - Branch Manager- Riverton

We’re looking for a dynamic, service-oriented leader to manage our branch operations, inspire our team, and help us grow membership and engagement.



Position Summary



As Branch Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the branch, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, members receive prompt and professional service, and branch goals are achieved. You will lead and develop a high-performing team, manage lending activities, maintain compliance and security standards, promote credit union products and services, and actively engage with local businesses to create lasting partnerships that support community growth. A successful Branch Manager will have an outgoing, positive attitude that motivates staff, builds trust with members, and creates a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.



Key Responsibilities




  • Direct and supervise daily branch operations, including scheduling, workflow, and service delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with credit union policies, legal requirements, and security procedures.

  • Serve as Loan Officer, processing and approving loans within established policies and limits.

  • Oversee cash controls, balancing procedures, and daily deposit operations.

  • Lead, train, and coach branch staff to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional service.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support employee growth opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate branch reports, budgets, and expense controls.

  • Promote credit union services through cross-selling, community engagement, and relationship-building with members.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and organizations to expand branch visibility and create mutually beneficial opportunities.

  • Foster a positive, energetic branch culture that makes members and employees feel valued.

  • Ensure branch facilities are clean, safe, and well maintained.



Qualifications




  • 2–5 years of related financial services or leadership experience.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Outgoing, positive attitude with a passion for building relationships and motivating others.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with standard business software and financial systems.

  • NMLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
