Brand Connections Specialist

The Brand Connections Specialist is responsible for supporting Credit Union public relations (PR) and events across all programming and activations including public relations efforts, corporate partnerships and sponsorships, special events both internal and external, and various marketing and advocacy initiatives for our organization.
Job Responsibilities
The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibilities required of this position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills. Supports all Brand Connections initiatives.
Provides support for internal employee messaging, including high profile emails, newsletters, and marketing related information housed on intranet site.
Assists with the organization’s annual report and annual meeting.
Drafts scripts and speeches for executives.
Plans, coordinates, and executes special events and partnership activations.
Supports team member events including our annual day of service.
Tracks, measures, and summarizes results of PR and event activities.
Coordinates and drafts annual awards submissions.
Provides support on materials needed for executive and board meetings.
Builds strong relationships across the organization and at all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Minimum of three (3) years related professional marketing or communications experience.
Master’s of business administration (MBA) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

A representation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.
Demonstrated communication skills; exceptional writing capabilities.
Strong vent execution skills including event planning and on-site activation.
Strong organization and planning skills with ability to project manage as well as track, measure and summarize results.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong relationship building skills.
Highly flexible and adaptive to change.
High degree of collaboration and team-orientation.
Strong business acumen.
Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job’s functions.

Hybrid remote and in-office setting; general office environment when in-office.
Night and weekend availability required.
