Job Description - Brand Development Coordinator-High Proof Spirits


 The Brand Development Coordinator for High Proof Spirits is responsible for overseeing and achieving sales goals within defined divisions. This individual is tasked to drive sales through effective sales and marketing strategies in coordination with Sales Professionals, key accounts and customer relationship management. S/He will manage the high proof spirits business and provide proper training and marketing information to local management and sales professionals.


Requirements

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in divisional general sales meetings monthly and to remain connected in all industry trends/developments.

Provide work with recap forms to local DM, Sales Pro and GSM.

Assist on-premise sales professionals with presentations and cocktail menus

Perform product training for each division in territory

Update SharePoint with all sales sheets for specific suppliers.

Manage item coverage and transfers in all agency stores.

Select stores for case pushes.

Work with OHLQ on barrel selections and store distribution

Collaborate with HP Account Coordinators Wholesale for coverage needs in stores for wholesale accounts.

Manage shelf placement communications for all items

Present display programs to OHLQ.

Communicate with sales representatives and team leaders for specific needs in respective agency stores.

Visit top 5-15 agency stores in each market on a bi-monthly basis.

Visit top 2-5 agency stores in each market on monthly basis.

Collaborate with VP of Spirits and Director of Brand Development on new items and brands for initial release into market.

Work with suppliers in the market on targeted sales calls.

Work with Heidelberg/Wine Trends on premise sales representatives.

Create target lists for suppliers in the market without a scheduled work with.

Collaborate with HP Account Coordinator Retail for coverage needs for wholesale accounts.

Manage goal attainment for each division in the region.

Kick off quarterly goals with each division including incentives.

Train/Educate all sales representatives on all new items.

Build business in targeted retail restaurant groups.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Have valid Driver’s license and must be 21 years of age.

Required to drive to multiple locations and maintain sufficient insurance. Must abide by all traffic and motor vehicle laws and regulations.

College Degree preferred.

High School diploma/GED required.

Minimum two years relevant sales experience with a record of meeting and exceeding goals.

Must be results oriented with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, One Drive/Share Point, IDig, VIP/JWALK, & Beverage on the Web

Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be to work flexible hours through the week and, sometimes weekends.

Dress code is business casual; closed-toe shoes are suggested. Other restrictions may apply.

While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers and phones; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
