Pay: $24–$28/hour
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Occasional weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Brazier for 1st shift operations in Tulsa. This role is responsible for using precise flame-brazing techniques to join copper, brass, and other metal components in the assembly of heat exchangers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on torch or brazing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform brazing operations to join metal components for heat exchanger assemblies
• Operate oxy-fuel torches to heat and bond materials according to engineering specifications
• Interpret blueprints, brazing diagrams, and technical instructions
• Select and apply appropriate filler metals and flux for each job
• Inspect finished joints for quality and structural accuracy
• Maintain brazing equipment and ensure it is operating safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with the assembly team to meet production goals and deadlines
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in brazing, welding, soldering, or torch work is required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or shop drawings
• Comfortable working in high-temperature environments
• Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is preferred

Work Environment

• Fast-paced industrial setting
• Facility is not climate-controlled; exposure to heat, noise, and metal fumes is expected
• Proper ventilation and required PPE provided, including flame-resistant clothing, safety glasses, and gloves

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and precise manual work
• Must have strong visual acuity and depth perception for detailed brazing tasks
