Breakfast Attendant

Description

Responsibilities 

•       Prepare food items for service at breakfast according to occupancy
•       Maintain a constant and complete stock of food and beverage items during breakfast hours
•       Set up service area each day in accordance to hotel standards
•       Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area during and after breakfast hours
•       Provide personalized, friendly service to each and every guest
•       Maintain temperature log book (updated daily)
•       Clean and maintain refrigerator and all other equipment daily
•       Assist management in daily, weekly and monthly food and supplies inventory
•       Clean and maintain dry and cold storage daily
•       Responsible for maintaining all food and beverage dates with date received in all dry and cold storage areas
•       Prepare and stock everything needed for following day
•       Operate all kitchen and breakfast room equipment correctly and safely
•       Know hotel emergency procedures
•       Wear protective gear when handling food and chemicals
•       Carry out any reasonable request by management if capable of performing

Requirements

•       Preferred: at least 1 year experience in a Food & Beverage establishment
•       Preferred: at least 1 year of Customer Service experience
•       Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds.
•       Must be able to stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment
•       Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English
•       Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions

LICENSES:

      Kansas City Food Handler License - must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire
