Breakfast ServerAM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast ServerAM to join our team at Schahet Hotels in Schenectady, New York. As a Breakfast Server AM, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests during the breakfast hours which are 6am- 11:00 am This individual contributor role offers a part-time schedule and a competitive salary of $10.75 per hour plus gratuities.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude, promptly seating them and offering menus
- Take guests' orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about ingredients or dietary restrictions
- Ensure all food and beverage items are accurately delivered to the guests
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are fresh and well-stocked
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area and dining room
- Take payments from guests and process transactions accurately
- Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
- Strive to provide exceptional customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or server role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
