Position Overview:

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality sonographic examinations, with a primary focus on breast ultrasound. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring accuracy and compliance with physician protocols.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform and ensure the quality of all diagnostic ultrasound procedures, especially breast ultrasounds.
• Obtain accurate patient history and input details into the system.
• Maintain proper room setup and sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
• Scrub future patient schedules to confirm order accuracy and availability of prior images.
• Ensure diagnostic-quality images and perform quality assurance.
• Maintain effective communication with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist in clinical tasks, such as inventory management, laundry, and room cleanliness.
• Provide coverage as needed for callouts or extended schedules.

What We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program
• ARDMS Certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Breast ultrasound experience required; Breast Registration with ARDMS preferred
• Proficiency in OB/GYN, Vascular, and General Ultrasound
• BLS Certification
