Brew Bird Fargodome Event Cook

Are you looking for seasonal work with set days? Wanting to make some extra money and have some fun while doing so? This could be the perfect job for you! We at Brew Bird will have our own concession booth at the Fargodome this year serving up our Funky Fried chicken! This job will involve you working closely with the staff and management of the stand and restaurant to ensure all goes as planned on our concessions shifts. This position is a unique opportunity to become well rounded in a new type of cooking setting, as well as meeting others in the industry. There is also an opportunity to pick up regular line-cook shifts at Brew Bird when available, if you would like more information on that, be sure to ask us!

You need to be:

• Someone who loves to cook! Consistently have an eye for the important details.


• Being able to work in a fast paced environment is vital, and if you have prior experience to prove it, that’s even better. 

• Being comfortable standing for long periods of time.  


• You’ll need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds


• Have a great attitude and the flexibility in your schedule.


• Be 18 years of age or older


• Have a valid driver's license


• Have reliable transportation

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Prepare food from scratch following our recipes to produce consistent results


• Know and comply consistently with standard cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen practices


• Operate fryers, perform Gluten free/allergen safe practices


• Portion all the products, and always make sure the plate presentation looks great


• Keep it clean! Follow the sanitation standards, make sure your work station stays clean and organized, and follow all of the food handling standards


• Perform light closing duties at the end of each shift to ensure a quick and clean startup for the next concessions date!
