Bridal Alterations/Seamstress

Bridal Seamstress:

At Luv, our bridal seamstresses play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience for our brides. As a Luv seamstress, you’ll bring positivity, encouragement, and enthusiasm not only to our brides, but also to their guests and our team. You’ll be the final touchpoint for brides as they leave our showroom making your role essential to the lasting impression we create.

In this role, you’ll not only fit and tailor gowns but also engage with brides and their families to ensure they feel supported and celebrated. Hours are flexible and will be determined by the needs of the business. Previous bridal alterations experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking measurements: Accurately measure clients’ bodies (bust, waist, hips, inseam, etc.) using professional tools.


• Sewing: Construct and alter bridal gowns by hand and with industrial sewing machines.


• Making alterations: Adjust seams, pin dresses, and perform repairs as needed.


• Fitting garments: Conduct fittings and recommend necessary alterations to ensure a perfect fit.


• Providing exceptional customer service: Communicate clearly, work efficiently, and be ready to go the extra mile — including occasional extra hours — to exceed expectations.
