Bridge Department Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead Structural Engineer/Project Manager on transportation projects (bridges, retaining walls, culverts)
  


• Perform quality assurance reviews
  


• Mentor/train junior staff
  


• Provide technical oversight
  


• Perform quality checks on project deliverables
  


• Monitor productivity/technical proficiency of staff
  


• Track progress to ensure production requirements are met
  


• Prepare structural scopes of work
  


• Develop work plans/schedules
  


• Assist with business development activities
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
  


• Master’s degree preferred
  


• 8+ years of bridge design/analysis experience
  


• PE License
  


• Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete design
  


• Proficient with bridge analysis software such as LARSA 4D and/or CSI Bridge
  


• Familiar with Bentley CAD tools preferred
  


• Working knowledge of various state Bridge Design Manuals
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
