Bridge Superintendent

About the Role

Were seeking a self-motivated, safety-focused Bridge Superintendent to lead a crew of 510 team members on heavy civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a solid background in pile driving and bridge construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and crew performance

• Lead job briefings and enforce safety protocols

• Ensure alignment with project schedules and specifications

• Oversee operation and inspection of heavy equipment (crane, pile hammer, excavator, etc.)

• Perform basic site layout using survey equipment

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to align goals and resolve issues

• Schedule materials and subcontractors

• Monitor productivity and continuously improve efficiency

• Maintain and operate company equipment with care

• Interpret construction plans and specifications

Requirements

• 510 years of bridge construction and pile driving experience

• Strong familiarity with reading plans and specifications

• Proficiency with tools and equipment operations

• Basic tech skills (smartphone/laptop usage for reporting)

• Proven commitment to safety standards and procedures

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record

• Comfortable working at heights and able to obtain ErailSafe clearance

• High school diploma or GED

Compensation: $110,000 $135,000 annually (based on experience)
