BrightStar Care is looking for the next best Caregiver to hire within our Care Homes! Our Care Homes house up to 10 residents and always have at least 2 Caregivers on. That means, that is a 1-5 ratio for you! One of the lowest Caregiver-Resident ratio in the Treasure Valley! Not only are the ratios extremely easy to work with, but so are the residents and your fellow Caregivers.

Responsibilities:

•  Help residents take prescribed medication 


•  Assist residents with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside 


•  Assist residents with personal care and hygiene 


•  Help residents with physical therapy exercises


•  prepare meals with menus 


•  Be a pleasant and supportive companion 


•  Report any unusual incidents 


•  Provide a safe and clean environment 


•  Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a caregiver (Preferred but will provide training


•  Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)


•  Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking


•  Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards 


•  Respectful and compassionate 


•  Good time management skills 


•  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills


•  Strong ethics 


•  Physical endurance 


•  Background clearance from Health and Welfare 


• Able to pass a drug screening
