Broadcast Video Operator I

The Tier I Broadcast Video Operator is an entry-level role on the Video Team at Bethel Church. This position supports live production by operating foundational camera positions for services, classes, and events. Tier I operators develop camera fluency, framing consistency, and foundational production awareness while supporting the team during live gatherings.

Core Responsibilities

• Operate static or foundational camera positions during weekend services or classes
• Assist with gear setup, cable runs, and basic maintenance
• Learn camera operation basics including framing, timing, and responsiveness
• Shadow Tier II/III operators and rotate into live environments with coaching
• Support team setup and teardown for weekend services and events
• Maintain camera gear and workspace cleanliness under supervision

Qualifications

• Shows eagerness to learn and grow in a live production environment
• Basic familiarity with cameras, tripods, or production tools
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
