We're seeking a Broker Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Broker Support Specialist blends administrative support with technical and strategic responsibilities, focused on maintaining strong broker relationships, providing training and educational materials, managing workflows, and organizing virtual events that support broker development and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist brokers and clients with access issues and technical support, providing the resources, training, and guidance they need to succeed.
• Develop materials and facilitate training to help brokers understand consumer products and improve their efforts.
• Handle back-end functions such as data collection, client queries, documentation, and record maintenance.
• Answer and screen calls and schedule appointments.
• Organize virtual events that support broker development and growth.
• Perform ad hoc projects, administrative duties, and other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

System Knowledge

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, required.
• Knowledge of Encompass or a comparable loan origination system (LOS) preferred.

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in sales or the mortgage industry required.
• Experience answering and screening calls and scheduling appointments required.
• Experience developing training materials and delivering training to others required.

Preferred Certifications

• No specific license, certification, or designation is required for this position.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic communication tools.
• Ability to occasionally travel for meetings, conferences, training, or business development needs.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment in Chatsworth, CA. The employee may be required to manage multiple priorities, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and adapt to changing business requirements.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $25.00–$28.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
