Job Description - BT Onboarding Coordinator

Position Summary


The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for managing initial aspects of the onboarding process for Behavior Technician personnel. This role ensures a seamless and positive experience for new hires by facilitating onboarding calls, organizing and verifying required documentation, and maintaining compliance with organizational standards. The Onboarding Coordinator will also manage and update staff files through the completion of the onboarding process, supporting a smooth transition for new team members.


Success in this role is defined by adherence to Centria policies and procedures, flawless and timely execution of assigned tasks, and the achievement of key performance indicator (KPI) metrics. These metrics include qualitative and quantitative measures related to production, quality, and cycle time, ensuring operational excellence and consistency.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate onboarding calls with new hires to guide them through the onboarding process and ensure a positive experience.

  2. Organize, maintain, and verify all required documentation for new hires, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

  3. Manage and update Behavior Technician staff files throughout the onboarding process.

  4. Collaborate with other departments to resolve onboarding-related issues and provide timely updates to/about new hires.

  5. Provide ongoing support and communication to new hires during the onboarding process. Continuously improve onboarding processes to enhance the new hire experience and operational efficiency.

  6. Assist candidates with completing their Form I-9 during the Kick Off Call in compliance with Centria’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws and regulations.

  7. Ensure all onboarding procedures align with Centria’s Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, and Federal and State laws and regulations.

  9. Responsibility to report violations of Company policies or the Code of Conduct.


Rate


$20-$22 hourly


Qualifications


Education/Licenses



  • Associate degree

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred


Work Experience



  • 1+ years administrative or customer service experience

  • Data entry experience, preferred 


Equipment and Technology Requirements



  • Basic computer skills

  • Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

  • Proficiency in G Suite


Other Competency Requirements



  • Ability to follow written instructions

  • Ability to use computers and computer/software programs

  • Ability to communicate expressively and receptively


Knowledge and Skills



  • Proficiency in PC software, especially spreadsheet programs;

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Ability to build rapport with peers, team members, managers, and clients, explain complicated information in an approachable and easily understood manner, effectively handle challenging phone conversations, and represent the Centria brand;

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks, adhere to established deadlines, and produce work that consistently meets or exceeds team benchmarks;

  • Proven adaptability with a willingness to work both collaboratively and individually to achieve desired business outcomes;

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic with attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. 


Working Conditions



  • Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

  • Additional time or occasional shift in schedule may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.

  • Overtime is not a planned part of this role; if required, overtime must be pre-approved in writing by a direct leader. 


Physical Demands


While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
