Bucket Loader Operator

Join our dedicated team at Recycling Services of Florida, where we’re committed to sustainable practices and creating a cleaner future. We are currently seeking a Bucket Loader Operator to help support our facility by safely and efficiently moving recyclable materials throughout the site.

What You’ll Do:

As a Bucket Loader Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a rubber-tired, hydraulically powered front-end loader to lift and transport paper and recyclable materials
• Feeding conveyors, hoppers, or chutes, and loading/unloading trucks as needed
• Sorting recyclable materials (cardboard, plastic) and removing non-recyclables from paper flow
• Moving and organizing reusable materials for processing or storage
• Conducting daily safety checks and basic equipment maintenance
• Operating forklifts, bobcats, and balers as needed
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Supporting a smooth, efficient, and safe recycling operation

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of experience operating bucket loaders or similar heavy equipment
• Proficient in using a bucket loader, forklift, and bobcat
• Experience working in recycling, industrial, or similar environments preferred
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently
• Ability to sort materials and recognize non-recyclables
• High school diploma or GED preferred
