Buffet Attendant

Summary:

·         Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of the buffet line to provide a quality dining experience for our guests

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         To know food quality standards and the menu manuals

·         To practice teamwork among kitchen staff and other departments

·         To meet or exceed the restaurant’s sanitation standard

·         To consistently monitor the buffet area, keeping it stocked and cleaned

·         To ensure that floor and buffet area is free of debris and wiped down

·         To clean buffet stainless steel pans of any food or burn spots

·         To ensure that the buffet, walls, and carts are cleaned and sanitized

·         To polish stainless steel and clean glass

·         To learn and use proper meat carving techniques

·         To attend all meetings and/or training sessions, All meetings and training sessions are considered mandatory.

·         To perform other duties as assigned

·         GED or High School Diploma preferred, but not required
