Building and Grounds Worker

NEW INCREASED STARTING WAGE - $19.25-20.45/hour

Able2 has a full-time Building and Grounds position in its Horseheads location. As a Building and Grounds Worker, you will be performing maintenance on facility equipment, building and grounds.

This pay range for this position is $19.25-20.45/hour based on experience. You will be responsible for making repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems, performs carpentry tasks, requesting materials, tools and equipment, and documentation, and much more!
The schedule for this vacancy is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Requirements of a Building and Grounds Worker includes:

• a minimum of a high school diploma or general equivalent degree
• a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an institutional or industrial maintenance department and possess skill in the area of plumbing, heating, A/C, electrical and carpentry trades
• must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to Agency insurance carrier
• ability to assume on call duties on a rotating basis.
