Building & Machinery Maintenance

Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems in building. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment

Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts

Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery

Installs and repairs electrical apparatus

Repairs and maintains structure of building, such as electrical lighting and plumbing

Must be able to communicate effectively and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, operating, maintenance and procedure manuals. But have a broad mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Must be able to operate independantly.
