Job Description - Building Automation Project Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Building Automation Project Engineer in Framingham, MA (on-site).
This job is in the United States and only candidates eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Support the replacement of legacy Building Management Systems (BMS) across manufacturing facilities.
Assist throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, vendor procurement, engineering review, field execution, and final commissioning.
Prepare and manage BMS Replacement Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to support vendor selection processes.
Develop and maintain BMS replacement execution plans.
Conduct and support in-field audits to evaluate existing infrastructure and project readiness.
Review BMS integrator technical submittals to ensure compliance with engineering and company standards, including: Functional Specifications (FS), Instrumentation & Control (I&C) packages, Input/Output (I/O) lists
Support hardware cutover activities and system implementation.
Witness and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Troubleshoot Ignition SCADA and PLC systems as required.
Manage SAT punch lists through resolution and project closeout.
Qualifications:
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) in pharma manufacturing or industrial environments.
Knowledge of BMS replacement projects, commissioning, and system integration.
Experience preparing or supporting RFP/RFQ documentation and vendor coordination.
Familiarity with Functional Specifications (FS), Instrumentation & Control (I&C) documentation, and I/O lists.
Working knowledge of Ignition SCADA and PLC troubleshooting.
Experience supporting FAT/SAT activities and hardware cutovers.
Strong project coordination and technical review skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, vendors, and field personnel.
Note: Salary range USD 120,000â150,000 per year, depending on experience.â
