AECOM is currently seeking a Building Enclosure Specialist for a Federal Client in the DC Metro Area. The Building Enclosure Specialist will be the senior technical resource and will serve as the technical advisor for the team throughout multiple projects’ lifecycles.  

This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for candidate's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Strives to identify opportunities for effective and efficient cost savings for the client.
• Serves as a fully capable professional in the field with minimal direction.
• Communicates and collaborates with full design team and client to ensure client needs are met.
• Conducts interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and develops estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.  

Minimum Requirements:  

• BA/BS + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education 

Preferred Requirements:  

• Ability to obtain  a Public Trust Federal Security Clerance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, 
• Rhinoceros +VRay, and AutoCad
• Experience with SD/DD/CD/CA/Inspections
• Experience with Waterproofing, Exterior Wall, and Roofing
