Building Engineer Project Manager

An engineering consultant is looking for a Building Services Engineer or Building Engineer Project Manager. As a building services engineer the individual will be involved in various local projects, mainly related to mechanical and electrical services with a focus on innovative technology and renewable energy.

The main responsibilities shall include the following:

• Preparing engineering designs;
• Preparing of BOQs, technical specifications and tender documentation;
• Reviewing of technical proposals;
• Designing renewable energy systems;
• Overviewing of contractors submittals and works;
• Supervising of works on site as required and give feedback to the relevant parties;
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants on scheduling of works and deadlines;
• Project management and quantity control;
• Carrying out energy audits, drafting technical reports and advising on sustainable energy projects.

Ideal candidate should be in possession of the following qualification and skills:

• A Diploma in Building Services Engineering or similar (MQF Level 4);
• Knowledge and experience in the use of ACAD software;
• A clean driving licence;
• Good communication skills, the ability to work in a team and to liaise with different stakeholders. The applicant should also be solution driven;
• Motivation and capability to work on own initiative with an eye for detail and quality;
• Previous experience will be considered an asset.
