Building Maintenance - 2nd Shift

Description

The Country Club of Buffalo is looking to hire a full-time 2nd shift building maintenance employee to preform daily club house maintenance tasks. This is a full-time year-round maintenance position on 2nd shift.  

LUNCH AND DINNER MEALS ARE PROVIDED DAILY

Building Maintenance Staff Responsibilities:

• Maintain and make general repairs
• Painting interior and exterior areas
• Hanging pictures, fixtures, shades etc.
• Changing light bulbs and light fixtures
• General plumbing and electrical work
• Moving furniture & general cleaning
• Operating tools and equipment 
• Other duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor

Requirements

Building Maintenance Staff Requirements:

• Experience using maintenance tools/equipment
• 2+ years previous work history in maintenance 
• High attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions
• Clear communication
• Strong multi-tasking ability
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb
• Works well as a team and independently
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Club History:

The Country Club of Buffalo is the premier country club in Western New York. The Club is rich in tradition and heritage, with many legacy families enjoying membership for generations. The Duane Lyman designed Clubhouse encompasses 55,000 square feet featuring stately living rooms, three dining rooms, and various private party rooms. The Club’s revenues are approximately $9 million annually, including $3 million in food and beverage. The Club has approximately 520 members
