Building Maintenance Technician

As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the comfort, function, and safety of our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining performing cleaning and janitorial duties and assisting with general facility upkeep and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, lighting, and other building systems

• Perform daily routine cleaning including restrooms, common areas, and offices

• Stock common areas with necessary supplies

• Work with office manager to maintain office inventory

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and address potential hazards promptly

• Assist with setting up offices, moving furniture, and minor renovations

• Maintain daily logs of tasks and communicate building issues with management

• Respond to service requests and on-site emergencies professionally and efficiently

• Maintain security protocols and help facilitate building security

• Support other facility-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of building maintenance or facilities experience

• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, general plumbing, electrical, and light carpentry

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
